Strengthening Education and Industry Collaboration: Academic Visits to Voltake Energy Services

As a leader in Malaysia's solar energy industry, Voltake Energy Services is committed to fostering strong partnerships between the education sector and the renewable energy industry.

The USM delegation held discussions with Voltake’s management to explore joint research opportunities that could benefit from USM’s expertise in nanotechnology and Voltake’s industry knowledge in solar energy development. The delegation also visited Voltake’s solar plant to observe the technology in action and better understand its large-scale application.

Associate Professor Ts. Dr. Mohd Zamir expressed his confidence that the collaboration between USM and Voltake would lead to new advancements in renewable energy technologies, benefiting both the academic and industrial sectors.

Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) also visited Voltake Energy Services, with the delegation led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohammad Faridun Naim Tajuddin, Head of the Centre of Excellence for Renewable Energy (CERE), UniMAP. This visit aimed to enhance collaborative efforts between UniMAP’s research initiatives and Voltake’s expertise in renewable energy.
